The Chevrolet Corvette is an exceptional car, delivering breathtaking performance. Since the arrival of this eighth generation, many have wondered how the American automaker manages to offer such a high-performance sports car at such a reasonable price—and that holds true for every new version added to the lineup.
As you probably know, Chevrolet recently unveiled the 2025 Corvette ZR1, the most powerful production version in the model’s history. Absolutely everything about this car is impressive. So, it’s no surprise that we were expecting a hefty price tag.
In its base version, the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette starts at $90,925. The price jumps to $161,479 for the E-Ray version and $170,479 for the Z06. So, it was clear that the ZR1 version would come with a price well over $200,000—and that’s exactly what Chevrolet is offering.
The 2025 Corvette ZR1 is priced at $241,499 before options. That’s a significant sum, but it’s important to remember that this version of the legendary American sports car rivals models like the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari SF90 in terms of performance—vehicles that cost nearly four times as much. In that sense, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is truly a bargain in its category.
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The American automaker’s sports car can rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.3 seconds and reaches an astonishing top speed of 375 km/h.
What’s even more impressive is that the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 isn’t even the ultimate version of the model. When the eighth-generation Corvette was first launched, Chevrolet announced several upcoming variants, including a final edition called the Zora. Not much is known about this version yet, but expectations are high for it to push the limits in every way.
